Mac salad was just run of the mill, nothing special. Potato salad I think had pickles in it which I will admit is genius it was really good. Seems like they feature their pierogies as a key item so maybe they mostly focus on those and everything else kinda falls at the waist. The bread that came with the meal had some kind of garlic spread on it that was incredible!! and the Apricot pierogies were so good. The chicken noodle soup was very similar to Campbell's, which luckily I like but others may not. Chicken Paprikash is one of my favs so I was excited seeing as how I thought this was an authentic place but it was probably the worst Ive ever had. "Heard about this place from coworkers who talked highly of it and the menu was definitely intriguing so I finally got to give it a shot. It's like going to grandma's house and saying: "grandma you should get paid for doing this" Well these ladies are getting paid for this and deserve every penny." This should be a permanent staple in the Lehigh valley. Reasonably priced and always served fresh. From their pierogies, sandwiches, potato salad and service. This place is a classic reminder that homemade goods are always good. "Like the old mom & pops stores back in the day. If for some reason you had a bad experience just give it another chance I'm sure you will love it. (meat patties, mashed potatoes, vareniki, salad olivie, beat salad etc.) and they never disappoint. I never tried sandwiches there but every time I go always buy food I'm used to I am from Ukraine myself and I absolutely love food at the Deli. "Food is delicious and staff is very friendly.

I can’t remember the price, but it was cheap! I don’t think I could ever go back to ordering pâté at a restaurant. I got about 50 grams of their herb liver sausage and it was between $1 or $2. The savoury crisps were a bit expensive, but it works perfect with the pâté. I bought some spicy salami snacks, liver sausage/pâté and savoury crisp crackers. I find that their staff are very helpful when trying to figure out what to buy. Lots of varieties of sausages, cold cuts, bratwurst, liver sausages, bacon, ham, turkey, salami, dried cured meats, pates, and a lot more. The store isn’t too large, but you will find a large deli counter and a few shelves of items that go well with their cured meats. I really wanted to come to Black Forest Delicatessen after attending the Fraser Valley Food Show and tasting their award-winning pâté at the sausage contest. Park Royal has gone through much changes over the years and it’s in their newer section of the South side close to the construction. Their main processing location is in North Vancouver, but they have retail locations in North Vancouver and West Vancouver (Park Royal – South).

They have some pretty fantastic cured meats to choose from. Black Forest Delicatessen makes a lot of appearances at German-inspired events like the Christmas Market and trade shows around the Lower Mainland.
